The project is dealing with the implementation of research that will enable the collection and analysis of data on the views and opinions of citizens, but also migrants themselves, in the territory of four Vojvodina local governments, followed by the analysis of official local policies, as well as the publication of two reports with recommendations and proposals for the improvement of relevant public policies in order to examine the possibility of the effective involvement of migrants in local communities.
The project goal is to contribute to the creation of favourable conditions for the inclusion of migrants in local communities in Serbia through participatory creation of local policies, constructive dialogue and rational questioning and (re)defining the interests of communities and citizens regarding the possibility of involving migrants in local communities.
– Developing working methodology of focus groups
– Organising focus groups and interviews with local decision makers
-Developing policy papers on key conclusions for improving the effective participation of citizens in the process of creating public policies in the field of migration.
-Organising 3 press conferences in Belgrade, Subotica and Šid.
Target groups: citizens of 4 municipalities/towns, migrants and refugees, and employers.
